Chalk it up to another Hallmark holiday to give us yet another excuse to dress and look our very best. Is there a better time to break out that cute outfit than Valentine’s Day? I don’t think so! Whether you’re going out on a romantic date with your sweetheart or hitting the town with your besties, here are five tips to knock your look out of the ballpark.
Proper exfoliating is the key for smooth, soft, touchable skin. I use a gentle scrub like Enza Essential’s Shea Butter Body Polish – it makes me feel like I just stepped out of an extravagant spa. Your special guy will be singing his own version of “Reach out and touch, somebody’s hand.”
Moisturize for even softer skin. Immediately after showering, apply a heavy moisturizer to reenergize your dry and thirsty skin. I like my Enza Essential’s Shea Body Butter which keeps my skin feeling fresh all night long!
Go for a natural, romantic hair-do (aka channel your inner Victoria Secret Angel). The last thing you want is your guy being afraid to mess up your perfect do. If your hair is long, try using a one-inch curler to create those perfect and effortless loose curls. Hello touchable, sexy hair!
Perfect those kissable lips. Exfoliate your lips with a scrub like Jane Iredales Sugar and Butter Lip Scrub. Then, apply your favorite lip balm and top it off with a pink or plum lip gloss.
Make a statement with a favorite scent. How a girl smells can be just as powerful as how she looks. For Valentine’s Day, opt for a soft, luxurious scent then apply a drop to your wrists and neck. Don’t overdo it though!
Have a lovely Valentine’s Day, Beauties!

Wow – I can’t believe it’s already September! With fall officially here, you want to look and feel refreshed. Unfortunately, you may have noticed your skin seems a little duller than usual. Thanks to summer’s extreme heat, lots of dead skin, sweat, and bacteria have accumulated on your face and body. What’s the quickest way to an instant “glow”? Exfoliation.
Exfoliating is one of the most beneficial things you can do for your skin. It’s SO important to rid your skin of bacteria and dirt regularly. If you’re not exfoliating, those nasty pollutants may be irritating acne and blemishes, and could be increasing your chances of acne scarring!
When choosing the right exfoliator, it’s important to use one product for your body and another for your face, as the skin on your face and neck are thin and more sensitive than the rest of your body. For your body, I recommend using Enza Essentials Shea Butter Body Polish – it effectively softens, hydrates, and revives your skin while sloughing off dead, dry cells.
When it comes to your face, it’s the same idea. However, because the skin on your face is more sensitive and we are much more cautious of acne and blemishes, it’s important to use an exfoliator with natural rice, grains, and oats that will act as a masque to gently and effectively absorb the unwanted acne-causing oils. The natural ingredients will also work to polish away those impurities caused by summer sweat or sun damage and leave your face looking bright and refreshed. Enza Essentials Fine Facial Polish does an amazing job and smells great, too!

Happy Friday, Babes! I hope you all had a wonderful week and are partaking in some final summer activities this weekend. Ready or not, autumn is almost here! Although I’m going to miss summer, here’s some fall beauty favorites that I’m going to be obsessing over the next few months:
Blushes in pink and red tones are going to be HUGE this fall season and I’m not complaining about it one bit! Warm hues are perfect for autumn styles, so I think I’ll be rocking this makeup look quite often – just like Karlie.
Nothing says cooler weather like a pair of fabulous over-the-knee boots, am I right? I think I’m going to have to purchase a pair in every single color…
Fall means out with the old and in with the new – which is why you need to get rid of all the dead skin cells from summer! Exfoliating 2 to 3 times a week is extremely beneficial for bright and glowing skin. My Fine Facial Polish will be at my side throughout the fall season. (And the rest of the year, too!)
I don’t know about you, but I’m all about a chic, smoky eye for the autumn season. This trend will be spotted on runways and Red Carpets over the next few months and I’m so excited. Jane Iredale’s Smoke Gets in Your Eyes eye shadow kit is perfect for creating a sultry look.
How adorable is Elizabeth Keene of A Keene Sense of Style with this rust-colored scarf?? Scarves are the ideal fall accessory because 1) they’re adorable and 2) they keep me nice and warm. I can’t wait to go on a “scarfing spree!” 🙂

Ashley Greene – oh how I envy you. She’s absolutely gorgeous, is a brilliant actress, a wonderful role model for women, and has a killer complexion. Seriously, she’s perfect.
I can’t get over how bright her skin tone is – I’m obsessed! She actually glows. I read that she drinks LOTS of water to keep her skin smooth and clear. Obviously, it’s working like a charm. She also exfoliates regularly.
Seriously, does the Twilight star even have pores?! I love how dewy her complexion is! And those brows are everything. The only makeup Ashley needs is a some mascara, blush, and a pop of color on her lips – her skin does everything else.
I read that Ashley uses vitamin C every single morning and night in her skin care routine – no wonder why her skin is beyond radiant! If you want glowing skin like hers, try using Enza Essentials Vitamin C Serum. This antioxidant-filled serum will give you a brighter, more healthy complexion!

We all want our foundation to look flawless – obviously. Whether you’re applying makeup to go to work, meet some friends for lunch, or date night with your guy, you never want to leave the house with uneven, cakey foundation. I’m SO excited to share with you all this super simple beauty hack I recently learned that will make your foundation look airbrushed every single time you put it on – keep reading to find out what it is!
The trick to a picture-perfect foundation appearance? Warming up the brush. Seriously, it works! Simply twirl and swirl your favorite foundation brush on the back of your hand to warm up the bristles. When you do this, the bristles will distribute your makeup much more evenly on your skin, causing it to look literally airbrushed. The more movement your brush has, the better the application. And remember, always wash your hands before doing this – you don’t want to contaminate your brush!
SKINTIP: For even smoother-looking foundation, exfoliate 2-3 times a week with Enza Essentials Fine Facial Polish.
Last night aired the 2015 CMT Music Awards in Nashville! Although I didn’t get a chance to watch the Award show, I’ve done some serious internet stalking today and have come up with a few of my favorite beauty looks from the night:
Brittany Snow.
The host of the night looked so pretty in her black and white gown and side-swept beach waves. And I cannot get over how OBSESSED I am with her lip color! Brittany looked like a dream. I’m also loving the pop of color that her earrings give, too. And seriously, her skin is glowing! It looks so smooth and bright. She must exfoliate on the reg.
Carrie Underwood.
Rockin’ her new hair cut, Carrie looked gorgeous as usual last night! This embellished white mini was amazing and her legs looked nothing short of flawless. Obvi. I’m happy she decided on a nude lip so it wouldn’t distract from her smokey eyes. Also, I can’t help but notice that this new mommy doesn’t have dark circles under her eyes – she must either be getting lots of sleep (come on, you know that isn’t happening) or using an eye cream.
Jana Kramer.
Oh my HOT! Jana looked fabulous in this emerald green gown with a plunging neckline. And how cute is her hair?! I’m loving the braid. Braids are always in, aren’t they? Her heavy eye makeup and nude lips are the perfect combination. Jana also doesn’t have ANY visible pores – I’m so jealous! To minimize the appearance of your pores, try using Enza Essentials Pore Extraction Masque.
Hillary Scott.
I cannot stop staring at the Lady Antebellum singer’s eyes! How amazing is this royal blue liner on her bottom lash line?! It makes her green eyes look absolutely stunning. I love how she paired this super chic eye makeup look with bright pink lips – how fun is that! Her skin looks so fresh and hydrated – she must drink 8 glasses of water a day!

Seriously, nothing (and I mean NOTHING) is worse than applying your fave shade of lipstick, rocking it for a few hours, looking into a mirror halfway through the day and finding that it’s all gone. There’s no color left! But, worry no more – I have a few tips and tricks to ensure that your lipstick stays on allllll day long.
Exfoliate.
Just like you need to exfoliate your skin, the same goes for your pout, too! Dead and dry skin cells build up on your lips over time, causing your lipstick to look uneven and unkissable (sad day). Your lip color will last longer if you have a smooth and hydrated surface for it to be applied on. For a super simple DIY lip scrub, click here!
Hydrate.
After you’ve hydrated your pout, you need to keep your lips moisturized, especially if you’re a regular lipstick-wearer. Lipstick is known to dry lips out, causing them to become flaky and chapped. Enza Essentials Lip Treatment is perfect for tossing into your bag so you can give your pout a surge of moisture any time of the day.
Use a straw.
Drink from a straw ONLY when you’re wearing lipstick. Otherwise, you may start to notice fine lines around your mouth area with repeated straw use. When you drink from a glass or mug, you are allowing both your top and bottom lips to entirely touch the cup, which serves as a surface for your lipstick to wear out on. So, if you’re wearing color on your pout, grab a straw!
Use a stain.
Lip stains do exactly what they say they do – they stain your lips, causing the color to last for hours on hours. My FAVORITE stain is Jane Iredales’s Lip Fixation in Devotion – it’s the perfect coral color for summer that lasts all day!

At just 20 years old, model Gigi Hadid has a lot going for her – she’s gorgeous, is BFF’s with Kendall Jenner (so jealous), and has breathtaking skin. Seriously. It’s some of the best in Hollywood right now.
Gigi is known for her natural glow. And as you can see, her skin actually glows. It’s flawless! I love how bright her complexion is – it doesn’t look like she’s wearing any makeup to get that even of a skin tone. With skin this perfect, there’s really no need for foundation!
I honestly don’t think Gigi has any pores on her face – I cannot notice a single ONE! She must exfoliate on the regular. After I exfoliate my skin with the Fine Facial Polish from Enza Essentials, my pores are dramatically less noticeable and it’s the greatest thing ever. I use it 2-3 times a week!
I read that Gigi ALWAYS wears sunscreen and is super fab about protecting her skin from sun damage. No wonder why her complexion is perfect – she’s all about anti-aging! So don’t worry, your love of pale skin is Hadid-approved.

With Memorial Day behind us and summer officially in full-swing, it’s time to show a little skin, ladies! We all know how bad sunbathing and indoor tanning beds are for our skin, so it’s best to reach for that self tanner to keep skin looking young and healthy. If you’re planning on getting your glow on this summer, here are skin-prepping tips to consider before applying your self tanner:
Exfoliate.
In my opinion, this is the most important thing to do before applying a self tanner. When you exfoliate your body, you slough off all the nasty, built-up dead skin that’s just hanging out in your pores, making it easier for the tanner to absorb. Also, when your skin is clean and free of dead skin, your tan will be much less streaky and blotchy, giving you an overall better appearance. Enza Essentials Shea Butter Body Polish is perfect for exfoliating skin before applying a self tanner, as it hydrates skin while calming inflammation.
Shave legs.
Did you know that shaving actually exfoliates your skin too? (Be sure to check out my post on 3 ways to use your razor) You want your skin to be as smooth as possible, so be sure to say goodbye to unwanted hair. It’s also important that you don’t wax right before you apply self tanner – wait at least 24 hours after you’ve waxed before applying your bronze glow.
Dry completely.
This may seem like common sense, but be sure that your skin is completely dry and clean before self tanner application. If your skin is moist, the tanner will slide right off your skin, resulting in no tan and a waste of your time and money. Also, don’t apply moisturizer anywhere else besides your elbows, knees, and heels – these dry spots tend to absorb too much tanner and can get too dark.
